Mahjong 101 and 102

New to mahjong? Our Mahjong 101 and 102 classes are the perfect place to start! Whether you’ve never touched a tile or just need a refresher, this beginner-friendly class will walk you through everything you need to know.

This includes two, 2 hour classes and your NML card.

You’ll learn:

    •    The basics of American mahjong, including tile recognition and set-up

    •    Rules of play and gameplay flow

    •    Common strategies to help you feel confident at the table

    •    Etiquette and traditions that make the game so special

Each class is hands-on and interactive, with plenty of time for practice and questions. By the end, you’ll be ready to join a table, shuffle with confidence, and fall in love with the game that brings people together.
