Mahjong 101 and 102:Learn the Game, Love the Game

*This includes two, 2 hour classes, preferably booked within about a week of each other.

New to mahjong? Our Mahjong 101 classes are the perfect place to start! Whether you’ve never touched a tile or if you just need a refresher, this beginner-friendly class will walk you through everything you need to know.

You’ll learn:

  The Basics of American mahjong, including tile recognition and set-up.

  Rules of play and gameplay flow

  Common strategies to help you feel confident at the table

  Etiquette and traditions that make the game so special 

Each class is hands-on and interactive, with plenty of time for practice and questions.  By the end, you’ll be ready to join a table, shuffle with confidence, and fall in love with the game that brings people together.

No experience necessary-just bring yourself and your curiosity.  We’ll provide the tiles, tables, and welcoming community.
